SETH JANSEN, EIT

Project Engineer

Seth is a project engineer with Brendle Group.  He contributes invaluably to a variety of projects in a range of roles, leading up many of Brendle Group's climate projects, including greenhouse gas inventories and climate action plans. He develops carbon accounting and baseline data,  including energy, water, solid waste, and transportation activities; conducts assessments and technical analysis for energy and water conservation measures; models building energy use; researches carbon markets for solid waste diversion projects; and develops water use benchmarks for select water use sectors.

Seth has several years of experience working in the environmental and energy engineering field.  In addition to working with Platte River Power Authority, Seth was awarded a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant to study renewable energy opportunities for ski areas. His Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University focused on energy and sustainable design.

As a Colorado native, Seth is thrilled to have the opportunity
to work on sustainability topics in the community in which he grew up.  Seth enjoys backpacking, all varieties of bicycles, snowboarding, food, and travel.
