Small Businesses in Lyons to Benefit from Energy and Water Conservation Support

Small businesses in Lyons will be the beneficiaries of an energy and water efficiency program funded by The StEPP Foundation, supported by Boulder County's Partners for a Clean Environment, and administered by The Brendle Group.

By participating in the program, these small businesses will receive customized efficiency recommendations to reduce energy and water consumption. In addition, the project is designed to provide these businesses with free technical support in selecting and implementing appropriate recommendations and financial support of up to $4,000 per business to install projects. Between the assessment/recommendations, technical implementation support, and cash incentive, the value to qualified small businesses is over $6,000. And perhaps the best part is that the implemented projects will continue to make a difference for these businesses over time in terms of reduced resource use and associated costs. It's all about giving small businesses access to greater efficiency.
