What's in a Name?
When Judy Dorsey started The Brendle Group in 1996, she chose her mother's maiden name, Brendle, as its foundation. Eileen Brendle Dorsey died of breast cancer in 1970 just short of her 40th birthday. She was an architect with plans to start her own firm one day. The Brendle Group, Inc. name is a tribute to Eileen Brendle Dorsey's goal. In her memory, a donation is made each year to the American Cancer Society and related causes.
