Since 2005, The Brendle Group and a group of voluntary participants from a number of Northern Colorado water providers have completed three efforts to address water conservation in ICI sectors.

Specific resources developed under these efforts include:

• A website resource providing resources for evaluating basic ICI water conservation opportunities in a facility, developed with funding from the United States Bureau of Reclamation
• Water use benchmarks for selected ICI sectors with the support of the Pollution Prevention Advisory Board (PPAB)
• An action plan detailing opportunities for water provider collaboration to achieve ICI water conservation, with support from the PPAB
