Resources for Colorado Schools
The Colorado Energy Office’s (CEO) Energy Savings for Schools (ESS) Program provides technical resources to schools across Colorado. Historically, the ESS Program offered:
- Free on-site audits from Brendle Group to identify tangible energy, water, and cost savings
- Free technical support and energy coaching to increase energy management knowledge
- Free evaluation of renewable energy opportunities
- Free implementation support and help identifying existing funding and financing options for completing projects
- Free recognition for a school’s efforts and opportunities to engage students
- Free energy monitoring device to measure electricity use and offer access to real-time data on a web-based dashboard
More than 50 Schools have participated over the first 3 years of the program and are saving as a result!
The fourth year of the program will usher in changes to the program, including more support for occupant engagement and capacity building. For more information:
